On his debut album,'New Moon', all vocals and instruments are performed by John with backing vocals on'Revolution' provided by Val Marshall. The album was produced in his own Hull studio - The Cupboard, and originally released in 2008.

His songs are catchy, soulful, commercial with a very distinctive edge. Vocals and acoustic guitars dominate with an interesting array of electronic grooves and textures for good measure.
